Dr. Dauway will share her knowledge of current breast cancer treatments in Kathmandu, Nepal. She has been invited to provide a lecture to medical students at the University of Kathmandu Medical Sciences and surgeons at the Duhlikhel Hospital. Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in women in Nepal. The nonprofit hospital is obtaining their first mammogram machine and aims to develop a breast cancer screening program, raising awareness of breast cancer throughout Nepal, especially in remote villages.
